Technical specifications
Cast Acrylic is manufactured from polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) through a casting process, resulting in sheets with a homogeneous structure and high optical clarity. This technology ensures uniform surfaces, without significant internal stresses, favoring applications that require dimensional precision and superior finishing.
The material has an approximate density of 1.19 g/cm³, combining light weight and good mechanical strength. Light transmission can reach up to 92% in colorless versions, providing excellent transparency and visual fidelity.
Cast Acrylic has good impact resistance, 10x greater than that of glass, in addition to stable behavior across a wide thermal range, operating between –40 °C and 80 °C. Its surface also shows greater resistance to aging, with a lower tendency to yellowing when exposed to outdoor environments.
Compatible with laser cutting, CNC milling, polishing, gluing, printing and thermoforming, the material allows broad customization and adaptation to different production processes, maintaining optical quality and stability throughout use.
Advantages
Cast Acrylic provides high optical quality for creating homogeneous surfaces with superior transparency, enhancing projects that demand precision and a premium finish.
Its casting process produces sheets with highly stable behavior. The material responds efficiently to machining and thermoforming processes, allowing flat or molded shapes with a high level of detail.
At the same time, its resistance to impact and aging delivers superior performance and excellent durability. Lightweight and easy to maintain, Cast Acrylic retains its appearance over time, contributing with high fidelity to well-executed technical and visual solutions.

Usage Recommendations
• The pieces must be stored in a covered, dry place protected from direct sun exposure, always resting on flat and clean surfaces.
• Avoid excessive stacking that could cause deformation, permanent marks or stresses in the material.
• During transport, ensure that the sheets are fully supported, preventing bending, impacts and damage to the surfaces.
• During installation, use fastening systems compatible with acrylic, respecting the clearances necessary for thermal expansion.
• The use of profiles, supports and adhesives suitable for PMMA is recommended, avoiding localized stresses and cracks.
• Periodic cleaning should be carried out with water and neutral detergent, using soft cloths or non-abrasive sponges.
• Avoid solvents, abrasive products, stiff brushes or high-pressure equipment directly on the surface.
