Laser cutting is a process that uses a high power light beam to melt the material of a part, making it possible to cut and engrave. When struck by the laser beam, the material is heated to the point of melting or vaporizing completely, and only then begins the cutting process, which follows a previously selected geometry.
It is the ideal cutting process for producing large-scale parts with accurate measurements. We manufacture in various types of materials including acrylic, MDF, as well as polycarbonate, carbon steel and aluminum. In all, Bold has 7 laser engraving and cutting machines, 2 x 3 meter cutting area machinery and 1000 watts of power, allowing it to be cut into acrylic sheets up to 32mm thick.
